All of our soaps are made using the Cold Process a traditional method of soap making.
Cold process soap is made from natural ingredients such as oils, butters, and herbs, making it gentler on the skin compared to commercial soap. The natural ingredients in cold process soap provide nourishing benefits to the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated and refreshed.
One of the key advantages of cold processed soap is its mildness. The absence of excessive heat during the soap making process ensures that the natural glycerin, a humectant that attracts moisture to the skin, is retained.
Cold process soap lasts longer when it is able to dry between uses. We recommend that you use a soap dish, soap rest or use this trick that my Dad has been using for years!
Push a bottle top into the soap and after using the soap, rest the bottle top on the sink to keep the soap off the sink allowing it to airdry.

All of our products are hand crafted to the highest quality in our workshop in West Cork, allowing for each individual piece to be special. Everything is made in small batches, scented with only pure Essential Oils, colours that are sourced from nature and do not contain any Palm Oil, Petrochemicals, Parabens, Phalates, SLS, Fragrance oils or artificial colours.

We also recommend using your soap within 6 months of purchase to ensure it still has it’s lovely scent.
